Cultural Awareness of the Haudenosaunee

Welcome to Stepping Stones Publications.  I am happy to share cultural knowledge to help individuals reconnect to the culture, heal and unburden themselves.  I live on the Six Nations Reserve and my traditional identity is the Turtle Clan of the Cayuga Nation.  I have worked within my community since 1995 to present day in various positions such as Diabetes Educator / Coordinator, Healthy Babies / Healthy Lifestyles and currently as the Traditional Wellness Coordinator.

TRAINING:
Participants involved in the Reconnection Journey through the Tree Rings Wellness Program will participate in an 3 year evaluation study led by Dr. David A. Patterson Director of the Native American Wellness Research Centre, the University at Buffalo, School of Social Work program.  The purpose of the study is to research the effectiveness of the Reconnection Journey Wellness Program from those who have been trained in the program.
